WATTS®, 88003425, Backflow Preventer Assembly, Inline, Series: LF709, 2-1/2 in Nominal, Flanged End Style, 175 psi Pressure, 33 to 110 deg F, Quarter-Turn Ball Valve Ball Valve/Gate Valve, Dual Check Backflow, Media: Water, Cast Iron Body, Epoxy Coated, Domestic

This 2 1/2 inch lead free double check valve backflow preventer assembly is designed to prevent the reverse flow of contaminated water of non-potable quality from being pumped or siphoned into the potable water supply due to backsiphonage and or backpressure. Ideal for protection in continuous pressure piping applications and cross-connections identified as non-health hazards. This assembly consists of a fused epoxy coated cast iron body, quarter-turn ball valves, FDA epoxy coated strainer, test cocks, and a modular check design for easy maintenance with center stem guide. The captured spring is accessible through a bolted cover plate. This assembly features integrated pressure-sensing test cocks that measure pressure fluctuations at three points when activated with an add-on monitoring connection kit. The kit collects, converts, and transmits the data values for use in a building management system. The coating on this backflow assembly uses ArmorTek(R), a patented 3-part advanced epoxy coating system designed to limit both microbial induced (MIC) and exposed metal substrate corrosion.
