Additionally, they prevent resetting if, once tripped, the ground fault renders the device no longer functional. When combined with Eaton’s Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter (AFCI) technology, Eaton's GFCI receptacles provide fire and electrical safety in one device (AF/GF), and are also available in breakers.
