Radon Block™ is the new leading high performance radon blocking barrier membrane. When properly installed, Radon Block™ resists gas and moisture migration into the building envelope, providing superior protection from toxic and harmful chemicals. It is a highly resilient under slab/vertical wall barrier designed to restrict naturally occurring gases such as radon and/or methane from migrating through the ground and concrete slab. Radon Block is more than 100 times less permeable than typical high-performance polyethylene vapor retarders against radon, methane and other harmful volatile organic compounds (VOCs). It has been evaluated by the national research council Canadian construction materials center (NRC CCMC).
