PETRO-TAPE is a rugged, inert and highly resistant tape. Its impervious to steam, salt water, air, fuels, refrigerants, acids and alkalis (including sulfuric, hydrochloric, nitric, sodium hydroxide and chromic), solvents (including kerosene, aircraft oils, gasoline, diesel, carbon test and cleaning fluids) and gases (including liquid and gaseous oxygen, hydrogen, ammonia, freon, chlorine, propane, natural gas, butane and nitrogen). PETRO-TAPE contains green pigment and its characteristics make it far superior to other PTFE tapes.
